Javiera Shooaie Decap is of Chilean-Iranian descent, born and raised in Norway. They graduated with a masters in Fashion from the Royal College of Art (2024) and a first-class honours from London College of Fashion (2022). Their work focuses on how materials, environments, and the body interact and affect each other.

They often draw inspiration from somaesthetic philosophies in their design process, creating garments that shift how the wearer perceives their own body and surroundings.

They see clothing as one of the most intimate artefacts we interact with. It is something that can move beyond social labels like gender or politics, and instead connect more directly to our biology and the natural world.
